VI. Additional Comments
Additional Comments

This is a hands on fellowship with graded competence based progression. We expose the fellow to both open and MIS HPB surgery. We perform laparoscopic pancreaticodudenectomy and liver resections. With 1 fellow per year there is ample cases for learning. All cases get discussed in a weekly MDT and by the last 6 months of the fellowship the trainee is expected to be able to perform independent pancreatic and liver resections with Procedure Based Assessments being undertaken at various time frames of the fellowship. We expect 1 publication per year and 2 audits per year along with surgical skills development to ensure a well rounded development of the trainee.
