Additional Comments

Elective resectional HPB surgery with liver / kidney / pancreas on call. Edinburgh is a leading centre for novel organ perfusion technologies; >85% of all DCD organ retrievals are performed with NRP and DCD-NRP livers now account for 40% of all liver transplants performed. Several of the HPB and transplant faculty are actively involved in clinical and basic science research - research exposure is encouraged (integrated into a clinical fellowship, or as a stand alone period). Training in advanced endoscopy (EUS / ERCP) by prior arrangement for candidates with sufficient previous endoscopic experience.
